Skills Fund Get $11.5M In Seed Funding
Austin-based Skills Fund said today that it has raised $11.5M in seed capital, which it says will go towards funding loans for students at coding bootcamps and other similar schools. Skills Fund said the seed funding came from student loan provider Iowa Student Loan. According to the company, it will issue loans to students at such coding bootcamps as Dev Bootcamp, Metis, Galvanize, Hackbright Academy, CodeU, and Sabio. Skills Fund is led by Rick O'Donnell.
