SkillGigs Expands To Austin
Houston-based online job search site SkillGigs has expanded its service into the Austin market, saying that it is taking an auction-style approach to helping employers find employees. SkillGigs said it is offering up a service and technology which turnss passive job seekers into active job seekers, and helping to match the exact needs of an employer with job seekers. The company said its "Robo Recruiter" platform uses artificial intelligence techniques to help match employers and employees, and also uses an "auction-style" technique to help job seekers get the highest possible salary for their talents--while still saving companies money by cutting out third party recruiters. SkillGigs said it is specifically focused on some of the harder-to-find positions, including Data Scientists, Full Stack Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Java Developers.
