GLG Expands In Austin

GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group), which operates an online marketplace which connects its clients to experts and insiders in different industries for business intelligence and other efforts, said it is in a major expansion of its office in Austin today. According to GLG, it has doubled its footprint in Austin to 84,000 square feet, with space for 730 employees. The expansion is at the company's existing office at 301 Congress Avenue. GLG says that it has over 1,600 employees worldwide. GLG did not say how many people are currently in the Austin location, but did say it added 150 new employees alone in July in Austin. GLG's services are often used by financial and other companies to better gain insights into specific industries, by connecting them directly to people who work within those industries as subject-matter experts.
