Dell Looks To Shed Units Ahead Of EMC Deal

Round Rock-based Dell is looking to sell off around $4 billion of its business units ahead of its acquisition of EMC, according to reports over the last couple of days. The deal includes a sale of Quest Software to KKR, Thoma Bravo, and Vista Equity; sale of SonicWall, and other assets. No details on the sales have yet been announced by the companies involved.
