Equinix Plans New Data Center In Dallas

Data center operator Equinix, which already has five data centers in Dallas, said it plans to open up yet another new data center in the city, as part of a global expansion. Silicon Valley-based Equinix said the new International Business Exchange (IBX) data center will create more capacity for the company. The Dallas center joins new data centers in Tokyo, Sao Paulo, and Sydney. The company last opened up a data center in Dallas in 2014.
