Younicos Wins Big Energy Storage Install Deal In Denver
Austin-based energy storage systems developer Younicos has signed an energy storage install deal in Denver, Colorado, in a deal with Panasonic, the two said this morning. According to Younicos, it will help Panasonic design and build an energy and solar power system at Pena Station NEXTin Denver, which includes the operations hub for Panasonic Enterprise Solutions Company and Panasonic CityNOW. Financial impact of the install deal was not announced. Younicos said that four of its Y.Cubes systems will be installed at the Panasonic facility, with a storage capacity of one megawatt of enery. That storage system will be connected to a 1.6 MW solar photovoltaic array being installed by Xcel Energy.
