Soteica Visual Mesa Acquired By Yokogawa Electric

Houston-based energy management technology and software developer Soteica Visual Mesa (SVM) has been acquired by Japanese company Yokogawa Electric Corporation, the companies said this morning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced by the company. Yokogawa Electric had already been a minority investor in SVM, since 2012. SVM develops energy management software used for production accounting and scheduling in the oil and gas refining industry.
