Vyopta Names SailPoint Co-Founder McClain To Board

Austin-based Vyopta said on Thursday that it has added Mark McClain, the CEO and co-founder of SailPoint, to the company's board of directors. McClain is a serial entrepreneur, who co-founded SailPoint and has now taken it to a company with over $100M in revenues and over 600 employees; he also founded WaveSet Technologies, which he sold to Sun Microsystems for $150M in 2003. McClaim also has served at Hewlett-Packard and IBM/Tivoli Systems. Vyopta develops a system to monitor and improve the performance of large video and web conferencing networks. The company said McClain joins its CEO, Alfredo Ramirez, and Chris Pacetti of AVX Partners on the board.
