HID Global Buys Bluvision

Austin-based HID Global announced this morning that it has acquired Bluvision, a developer of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) products. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. BlueVision's Internet-of-Things (IoT) products are used in the enterprise. HID Global said the buy will help it address a larger portion of the IoT market. HID Global said Bluvision becomes part of its Identification Technologies business. Bluvision had been founded in 2014, and was based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
