OpenKey Wins Chicago Boutique Hotel

Dallas-based mobile key software developer OpenKey has added a new, Chicago boutique hotel to its client list, saying on Tuesday that it has signed up The Wheelhouse Hotel as a user of its universal mobile key technology. Financial terms of the win were not announced. OpenKey said it won the deal with Bluetooth electronic lock provider ASSA ABLOY Hospitality. The Wheelhouse Hotel is scheduled to open later this year about a block away from Wrigley Field.
