uShip Moves Into Spiffy New Digs

Austin-based uShip has moved into some spiffy new digs this week, moving into a new office space on East Riverside Drive. uShip said its new headquarters building has 45,000 square feet, and will house its 220 employees, and features such amenities as locker rooms, a shower facility, bike room, a game room, not to mention a dog friendly yard and a gourmet food facility. Venture backed uShip is backed by Benchmark Capital, DB Schenker, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, and DAG Ventures, and has now raised a total of $50M in funding.
