Arlington, Texas Goes All In On Ridesharing, Drops Public Bus Service

The city of Arlington--which is midway between Fort Worth and Dallas--has shifted to operating its public transit service entirely using the Via ridesharing app, dropping what had been a fleet of charer buses plying the town's streets. Via has been providing its services in Arlington since December. Rides on Via's service will cost $3 per ride, and are being subsidized by the city.
