CarStory Rolls Out AI-Driven Sales Prediction Tool

Austin-based CarStory, the unit of Vast which is bringing artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to the automotive dealership market, said on Tuesday that it has launched a new tool which uses AI to help predict which cars will--and won't--be moving off a dealer's lot. According to CarStory, the updated Carstory Insights' Inventory Intelligence software helps dealers understand how a price will impact a car's changes at selling in a market. The software also lets dealers understand how much that price will affect the time to sell a car, what a dealer ought to price their vehicles at, and to get an idea of how the secondary market might affect a dealer's inventory, among other features.
