Uber Expands Across All Of Texas

Ridesharing service provider Uber has expanded its operations to all of Texas, the company said on Tuesday, saying its service is now available across the Lone Star State. Uber said that a recent study found that the company is a "major economic contributor" to the Texas economy, claiming it contributed $746M to the gross state product, with the gross revenues for Texas driver-partners coming in to $540M in 2017. Uber released a video touting its benefit to Texas along with the announcement.
