Trend Micro Completes $300M TippingPoint Acquisition

Dallas-based Trend Micro said this morning that it has completed its $300M acquisition of TippingPoint, the Austin-based intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and network security provider. TippingPoint had been part of Hewlett Packard. Trend Micro and HP had reached the deal to acquire TippingPoint back in October of 2015.
