TriQuint, RFMD Complete Merger, Become Qorvo

TriQuint Semiconductor and RF Micro Devices said today that they have completed the merger of the two companies, and have renamed the combined company as Qorvo. The new company has a major location in Richardson, which was previously part of TriQuint Semiconductor. Qorvo will begin trading today on the NASDAQ Global Stock Market as QRVO. Qorvo's operations in Richardson provide design, sales, support in the Gallium Arsenide (GaAs), Gallium Nitride (GaN), and Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) RF filtering technology areas.
