Rackspace Names New Sales Head
Rackspace Hosting, a provider of managed IT services, reported Wednesday that it has appointed Jim Lewandowski as its next senior vice president of worldwide sales. The San Antonio, Texas-based firm said Lewandowski succeeds Glenn Reinus, who will retire after a transitional period. Rackspace described Lewandowski as a sales and technology veteran who previously worked at security software publisher McAfee, where he spent four years as executive vice president of its Americas sales unit. Before McAfee, Rackspace noted, Lewandowski served as vice president of business and enterprise services for Yahoo!’s North America group. He has also worked at IBM and BMC Software, Rackspace added.
