Airband Gains $3M

Dallas-based fixed-wireless broadband service provider Airband Communications announced Tuesday that it has secured $3 million in funding. However, the Dallas-based company declined to disclose the source of the funding. Airband did say it would use the capital to build out its fixed-wireless network so that it could keep pace with increasing customer demand. The growth, Airband explained, comes from small- to mid-sized companies wanting broadband access.
