Silicon Labs Sees Boost In Revenues
Austin-based Silicon Laboratories, which manufactures analog and mixed signal integrated circuits, reports this morning that it saw a 25 percent increase in its second quarter revenues. The firm said that it had revenues of $104.2M, and is expecting revenues of $114M to $119M in Q3. The quarter was approximately the same as results for the same period last year, but up significantly from what was a slow Q1. Silicon Laboratories attributed the uptick to new product cycles, plus demand from Asia. In particular, the firm said it saw a "very strong rebound" in sales in its access and broadcast audio products areas.
