Silicon Laboratories Reports Record Revenues
Austin-based Silicon Laboratories, a maker of analog and mixed signal integrated circuits, said today that it has reported record revenues of $134.6M in its second quarter. The firm said the quarter marks the first time its trailing twelve month revenues have crossed $500M in revenue. The Q2 results were up 30 percent over Q2 of 2009, and up six percent from Q1. The firm attributed the rise to new customer ramps in applications such as touchscreens, portable medical devices, and USB products. The firm also said it saw strong demand from networking equipment makers, consumer audio products, and video.
