Silicon Laboratories Names COO

Austin-based Silicon Laboratories, the developer of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, said Thursday afternoon that it has named Tyson Tuttle as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Tuttle was previously serving as Chief Technical Officer. Tuttle will report to President and CEO Necip Sayiner. Tuttle has been at Silicon Laboratories since 1997, when he joined as a senior design engineer. He became CTO in 2010.
