Caringo Links With Storage Software Firm RainStor

Austin-based Caringo, the developer of object storage software run by Mark Goros, said today that it has linked with data management software firm RainStor. The two said the partnership will provide long-term storage for both structured and unstructured content. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. RainStor provides software which compresses and de-duplicated data.
