Report: UT Austin Among Top Schools For Apple Employees

Where are all those bright new computer science and engineering students from UT Austin going? According to an informal analysis by the Business Insider, Apple Computer. The insider--looking to pick apart the cultures of Google and Apple--found that among the most common universities attended by Apple employees, according to LinkedIn's reports, is the University of Texas at Austin. 2 percent of employees listed on LinkedIn at Apple attended the school. San Jose State, Stanford, the University of California Berkeley, and Santa Clara University were among the other common schools of Apple employees. With the recently announced creation of a campus in Austin by Apple, the proportion of UT Austin alum at Apple is bound to only increase.
