Flextronics Expands In Austin

Contract electronics manufacturing company Flextronics is expanding its operations in Austin, and plans to build a "next generation desktop computer" at the location, according to a report this morning. Flextronics did not disclose the customer it will be manufacturing the computer for, but the report said Flextronics may possibly be building Apple Macintosh desktops at the location. Flextronics already has 2,500 employees in Austin.
