Reports: AMD Selling Austin Campus
Advanced Micro Devices is looking to sell the company's Austin campus, to help raise cash for the chipmaker, according to reports today. AMD, which owns a 58-acre site in Austin, said it expects to raised between $150M and $200M from the sale. The news came via Reuters, which said AMD's move comes as the chipmaker struggles with slowing PC sales.
