Drive.ai To Launch Self Driving Car Service In Frisco In July
In what will be the first ever, self-driving car service to launch in Texas, a California company, Drive.ai, said it will begin offering up an on-demand, self-driving transportation in Frisco starting in July. Drive.ai said its service, to be offered in cooperation with the Frisco Transportation Management Association (TMA), will provide self driving vehicles in a geofenced area covering retail, entertainment, and office space around the HALL Part and The Star. Drive.ai was founded in 2015 by graduate students from Stanford University and its Artificial Intelligence Lab. The company says it has locations in Mountain View, California as well as Frisco, Texas, and more than 100 employees.
